An academic discussion between ICCR Chair Dr. Y. S. Alone and the teachers and students of Shenzhen University was successfully held at International Conference Hall at 15:00-5:00 on Oct. 17, 2012. The members of Centre for Indian Studies attended the discussion. It also attracted some  teachers and students who were interested in Indian culture and studies. The topics involved the dissemination strategy of Indian cultures to the international world, the impact of Internet media to the re-entry of Indian culture and traditions, media collaboration strategies among the south Asian countries in the framework of globalization, Indian buddhist architecture and sculptures, Indian movies, Vandana Shiva’s ecofeminist, etc.
