Sudheendra Kulkarni Paid a Visit to Shenzhen

Chairman of the Observer Research Foundation Mumbai, activist of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to India’s former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee (1998-2004), a leading columnist in Indian newspapers and a commentator on TV channels, Mr. Sudheendra Kulkarni paid a visit to Shenzhen on Dec. 1-4, 2012. This this the last station of his visit in China. He had visited Beijing and Shanghai and respectively delievered speeches in China Foreign Affairs University, Peking University and China Executive Leadership Academy Pudong (CELAP) before he came to Shenzhen. As Mr. Sudheendra Kulkarni himself said that “last is the best”.
In the morning of Dec. 4, Shenzhen Daily interviewed Mr. Kulkarni at Tan Yunshan Sino-Indian Friendship Museum of Shenzhen University. After the interview, Prof. Yu Longyu, director of the Centre for Indian Studies, SZU, was deep in conversation with Mr. Kulkarni and reached into an cooperative MOU Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Shenzhen University (Centre for Indian Studies) &
Observer Research Foundation Mumbai For the Promotion of Closer China-India Friendship through Cooperation in Intellectual and Cultural Fields. Mr. Kulkarni also authorized the Centre for Indian Studies, SZU to translate his newly published book MUSIC OF THE SPINNING WHEEL: Mahatma Gandhi’s Manifesto for the Internet Age. In the afternoon, Mr. Kulkarni delivered a lecture of Mahatma Gandhi and Internet Age and had a full interaction with scholars and students of our university.
During his stay in Shenzhen, Mr. Kulkarni also visited the Headquaters of HUAWEI and Dafen Painting Village.
