Prof. Sabaree Mitra from Sabaree Mitra from Centre for Chinese & South East Asian Studies, School of Language, Literature & Culture Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University visited SZU on April 7-13, 2013. She is also a Honorary Fellow of Institute of Chinese Studies Delhi, India. At present, she is undertaking the writing of the Encyclopedia of China-India Cultural Exchange with other Indian and Chinese scholars.

During her visit, Prof. Ruan Shuangchen, Vice-president of SZU met with Prof. Sabaree Mitra and had a talk on the propects of academic cooperation between SZU and JUN on April 8. In the afternoon of April 10, Prof. Sabaree Mitra delivered a lecture, China Studies in India: Inception, Development and Prospects in SZU.
